Jeff transfered to SUNY Fredonia starting the fall of 2007 and has enjoyed the benefits of a good teacher and the opportunity to play both classical and jazz music in a variety of venues. The Fredonia Jazz Ensemble (non curricular) has a history of touring NY state to promote jazz and jazz education/performance. The 2008 tour started in Buffalo NY and ended in Bellport Long Island. I was fortunate in that my family is from the area and my brother George also a recording enthuasist was able to record the final performance using his Zoom digital recorder. The instrumental performance is pretty decent however the vocal performance is not optimal as it captures the vocals through the PA system and it has been my experience also that even when you are able to find optimal location in a performance hall it still does not have the quality of vocals recorded with mic/vocal input into a console.
